Although there are 12 runners in this, very few of these come into this in decent form. Chief Yeoman and Brazillian Terrace, both winners on their latest outings are obvious candidates, along with Four Jays and the selection Little Good Bay, who comes out of the hottest handicap to be run so far this season. John Gosden's colt wasn't disgraced behind two potentially Group-class colts over course and distance at the Guineas meeting earlier this month. The runner-up Arakan has since gone on to demolish a big field at York, while the third has also run with plenty of credit at the same meeting. Dropped 1lb for that effort he looks to have a fine chance to get his head in front. Chief Yeoman made hard work of landing the odds at Lingfield and will almost certainly show improvement for this step up in trip, as his mother was a winner over 12-furlongs and he is also a half-brother to the useful middle distance performer Starlet. However, he looks to have plenty on his plate giving weight away all round. Four Jays is more exposed than most, but he does have a good level of form, although it would come as a surprise if something doesn't improve past him, while the Handicapper looks to have got his own back with Brazillian Terrace, raising her 8lbs for her impressive win at Yarmouth. That looks more than enough to take care of her.
