Verdict

Several of these amateurs have won this race before including Simon Walker who partnered Eton Blue to a recent double. Give It Some Teddy won over a shorter trip at Chester last week while Le Reveur was well beaten in this last year but arrives in good form. Maplewood finished in front of Alazwar and Lenny's Spirit over a mile at Ascot but it could pay to stick with recent Doncaster winner I STILL HAVE FAITH who landed a double over 1m2f in July.
