Verdict

Most of these trial runners are already entered in next month’s Cesarewitch though not the Irish challenger Extensio. The latter beat Sheishybrid at Clonmel recently and is also preferred to Last Ammo, a winner at Galway last month. Law Of The Sea hasn’t been at his best lately but good efforts in the Chester Cup and Ascot Stakes earlier in the year give him a shout while Grand Providence and Zain Nights have both scored over 2m this season. CAMPAIGN TRAIL (NAP) tried his luck over 2m at Nottingham last month and won more cosily than the winning margin suggests having found a second wind in the closing stages. He gets the vote with 1m6f winner Traila looking best of the rest as he steps up in distance.
