In depth

Verdict

Race To The Music is the pick over King Malachi, with Cape Of Luck and Cape Presto out to stop him. David Loder has already shown that his two-year-olds must be followed, and indeed the selection was good enough to make a winning bow at Lingfield at the end of June. That was over five furlongs on the Turf course, and as he holds an entry in the Gimcrack, today's trip is not a problem. King Malachi is weighted to turn the tables on Cape Presto on their Newmarket running, and has plenty of experience already. He can fill the forecast spot ahead of Cape Of Luck who does not seem to have progressed as much as connections would have hoped after a winning debut at Sandown. Loua also disappointed last time and has more to do, and really there can only be one winner, and that is Race To The Music.
