Wicked Daze gets the vote here ahead of Le Soleil and Bronze Star. Wicked Daze is lightly raced and and was just beaten when upped to 10 furlongs last time (admittedly, on Lingield's all-weather surface). That said, you can build the case - not least because he is set to rise by five pounds in future ratings - for things to be more to his liking today and he can go well. Le Soleil put up a fine effort when second to subsequent winner Greek Well at Sandown last time and, from a three pounds higher rating, he can go well again. Bronze Star is a lightly-raced James Fanshawe-trained runner that was just beaten over 11 furlongs at Yarmouth last time, and he too can go well. Great View won from today's mark at Newbury in October (although that was a Ladies' Race) and, given that he showed a little more encouragement last time, could well get involved tonight. Roi de l'Odet has plenty of wins to his name from the early part of his career in France and gets respect from the Nicky Henderson yard. Zamboozle showed a bit more sparkle last time and would hold claims based on his best 2005 form, and Sonny Parkin likes it here and is just three pounds above a winning mark. Given that he should be okay on the going, he is entitled to have his supporters tonight. Once again, though, the selection is Wicked Daze.
