In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap gets proceedings under way and many would have chances on there best form but the principals look to be Kristiansand, York Cliff and Rule For Ever and the narrow vote is given to Kristiansand. The selection was a fair second behind Freeloader last time out. That form looks rock solid and off the same mark here he looks the one to be on. York Cliff rates the main danger Gallieo Figaro but he should win more races than he does and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Rule Forever is another that could go well on his best form but he has yet to win off a mark this high and is taken on with this in mind. Of the remainder Ostfanni is better with more cut in the ground while Arcangela's best form is over a shorter trip and for the winner we return to Kristiansand.
