In a field mainly comprised of newcomers, it is one such animal Radical Views, that gets the vote over the likes of Marine Parade, Wait Watcher and Kon Tiki. Radical Views is well related, being a full-brother to both No Excuse Needed and Nawadi, and has entries in a couple of Group 2 contests, the Champagne Stakes at York and the Royal Lodge at Ascot. He is obviously thought useful then, and will be expected to go well on his debut here for the Barry Hills yard. He was pulled out of a similar race at Salisbury on Wednesday and can make the short wait worthwhile. Marine Parade has the most experience on view, but was a beaten favourite at Windsor last time, and there are plenty here that can improve past him. Wait Watcher is the only other to have seen the track so far, but she has to show a lot more than she did at Folkestone. Mark Johnston's juveniles continue to run well, so Kon Tiki would surely not have to be in the Middleham stable's hierarchy to take a hand in proceedings, while Ben Chorley is well thought of by all accounts. Emaara will no doubt come on in leaps and bounds for the run, and we shall return to Radical Views as the answer to a tricky opener at headquarters.
