Verdict
CROSSING THE BAR has been raised 8lb having bolted up over today’s trip at Carlisle on his handicap debut. He won’t mind if the forecast rain gets into the ground and can go in again. Spanish Kiss scored over 1m4f at York in testing going and should last home. The latter looks the main threat given Utile has something prove now after another poor effort at Doncaster and American Gigolo is another looking for a return to his best.
