Hula Girl appeared to run well enough in a Listed race here in November but she didn’t appear to get home when tried over 7f at Leicester in September. SHEIKHA REIKA, on the other hand, stays a mile and was probably unlucky not to win last year, especially here in September when only beaten a neck. She’s been beaten at short odds the last twice but her debut run behind Soliloquy at Ascot was decent form and she looks the one to beat if fully wound-up. Several of these have been running on the all-weather including Ocala and Playfull Spirit and both that pair have claims. Private View will almost certainly improve on her run at Kempton in October and Smart Dart also has scope. Improve is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Persuasive, among others, so is well worth a market check.
