Verdict
Godolphin won this race last season and it's no surprise to see them saddling a couple of runners on this occasion. French Group 3 winner, Calvados Blues makes a return to the track after over a season off, while Listed winner, Laajooj, hasn't been seen since the Dubai Carnival. With such question marks over fitness, it's not hard to look elsewhere and FURY can pick up another pot. There's no getting away from just how disappointing he was at York but he'd looked progressive prior to that run and the grey is given another chance. Farhaan ran better than his finishing position suggests in the Fairway Stakes. He was a very decent juvenile last term though enthusiasm for him has to be muted by his trainer's recent lack of success. Proud Chieftain and Mister Music attempt to graduate from handicaps and both have a bit to find on official figures.
