      Verdict

      Cumulonimbus completed a double over 1m3f last summer on good to soft ground but has never raced over this far. Hasty Sailor's three victories have been on the all-weather but SONNERIE POWER scored over the trip on Polytrack and made an encouraging reappearance on heavy ground at Leicester so gets the nod. Appier's six career victories have been at a lower level while Liseo is still a maiden though makes his handicap debut from what looks a fair mark. Star Angel has run poorly on soft ground after scoring at Southwell. Captain Kane passed up an entry in the 5.15 at York yesterday to run in this .
