Elusive Warrior is the one that catches the eye here, with his main dangers reckoned to be Nawaqees, West Of Amarillo, Zavone and A Cheekyone. Elusive Warrior's fourth to the Chesham Stakes winner Championship Point on his debut at Newbury stands out here and he can score in this maiden. Nawaqees, a three-parts brother to the Dewhurst winner Mujahid is of interest on his debut, while West Of Amarillo, who cost 76,000 guineas, is a well-related son of Gone West and holds claims. Zavone also has eyecatching breeding, while the claims of Sophie'Jo and Sakabula certainly cannot be dismissed out of hand. A Cheekyone is another with very likeable breeding and hails from a stable that is hitting a bit of form, while Dashfa Baileys stayed on late in the day after running green at Yarmouth and should improve for that experience. Overall, though, Elusive Warrior looks the one to beat.
