Verdict

Champagne Style has found one too good in each of his two starts so far and has every chance of going one better here receiving weight from his rivals but it is hard to oppose EMIRATES DREAM, who sets a decent standard and gets the vote ahead of Kalypso King. Richard Hannon's colt showed much improved form for stepping up to a mile when opening his account in a Newbury maiden last week and he has every chance of following up that success today having confirmed his liking for this trip. James Toller's Get A Grip showed promise on his debut here in August before opening his account in good fashion at Kempton the following month and he makes more appeal than Invincible Prince. Ralph Beckett's colt has not progressed from his debut success at Kempton and of more interest may be Rodrigo De Torres. Henry Cecil's son of Bahamian Bounty won well at York first time up and, although disappointing on two subsequent starts on fast ground, the going is likely to be more suitable today. He is not sure to get the trip today though and a better bet looks to be Emirates Dream. Saeed Bin Suroor's colt won well on his York debut and has not been disgraced in two subsequent starts in Group 3 races in France so he looks the one they all have to beat.
