Both Sir Michael Stoute and John Gosden have won this with three-year-olds in recent years. The former can score again with SHALL WE, an easy maiden winner at Salisbury before a decent run in the Ribblesdale where she attempted to make all on the soft ground. Gosden runs the unexposed Taqaareed, a very easy maiden winner when making all the running at Kempton. Miss Marjurie hasn't quite recaptured last summer's excellent form though should have the race run to suit but the consistent Oakley Girl has only ever won on the all-weather. Kallisha is a very useful handicapper who would prefer some cut in the ground, a remark that also applies to the former Italy-trained Sound Of Freedom.
