An almost impossible task for punters, with stacks of runners in with a chance and the tentative vote goes to NO HUBRIS. The race has a history of long-priced winners and this Paul Cole-trained colt can fit that bill. He looked smart enough when scoring over a mile at Sandown in the spring and has dropped 10lb in the weights for two handicap flops, making him very interesting with the yard going well. Hajoum looks a big danger as one who specialises over this trip and runs here under a penalty after a Dundalk win last week. Kajima won't mind the drop in trip and this good ground is ideal for another worthy of the short-list, while Citrus Star is much respected on his first try here. Horseradish is entitled to be bang there and would be a real threat if the rains arrived in time for the race.
