Millenary comes into this on the back of impressive successes in the Lonsdale at York and Doncaster Cup and is difficult to oppose on ground that he handles perfectly well in a race where the main dangers look to be Lochbuie and Dancing Bay. The last mentioned has his ground but was well held by the selection in this 12 months ago and it is hard to see how he can reverse that form on the same terms. Art Eyes bounced back to form here over 1m6f last time but this looks tougher, while Cover Up is probably not as good as he once was and has been well beaten by Millenary in his last two starts. Etendard Indien is probably better than recent hurdles form would suggest and any Nicky Henderson runner on the flat has to be respected although a bigger threat is likely to come from Geoff Wragg's Lochbuie, who has claims on form but is probably better on a faster surface. Millenary has an obvious chance on recent evidence though and should provide his jockey Richard Quinn another opportunity to show his skills in the saddle.
