TIMEPIECE will be expected to win this with the minimum of fuss and is fancied to do so despite having something to find on the figures; the dangers are led by Prizefighting and Marie De Medici. The selection is amongst the leading fancies for the Oaks which is no surprise given her illustrious pedigree and performances on the track. Timepiece may have narrowly missed out on her debut but she made no mistake at the second time of asking before being made to pull out all the stops to land a Listed race over a mile with Marie De Medici back in fourth. She'll relish this slightly longer trip and is fancied to score but this is far from straightforwards and it won't be the end of the world if she's beaten. Prizefighting may have found the ground softer than ideal when fifth in a French Group 1 having won well on debut whilst Rumoush did everything asked of her at Lingfield and is preferred by Richard Hills to Mufarrh. The pick of Gallic Star's form brings her into the equation but Timepiece is expected to deliver on expectations.
