QUADRILLE is put forwards in a typically competitive renewal where Red Jazz has to be feared given his trainer's recent record in the race but few can be ignored. Hanson'd may be better suited by the demands of this track than Lingfield and has the benefit of a run whilst Audacity Of Hope and Iver Bridge Lad both performed with credit last season and held their form well. Mata Keranjang was ambitiously campaigned last season and little should be read into the fact that he's still a maiden as he's yet to run outside Pattern company. Red Jazz has been absent since mid-summer but did well in the first half of last season and has the scope to make up into a smart three year old whilst Fremont is closely matched with him on their running in the Coventry Stakes so has to enter calculations. That should give Richard Hannon a decent line on the form and Richard Hughes has opted to partner Quadrille who has always been held in high regard by the stable. He may need another furlong in time having appeared to need every yard of the seven furlongs on his final two starts of last season but the stiff finish should help Quadrille play his cards right.
