A tricky handicap to finish off with and just a tentative vote goes to High Treason ahead of Celtic Spirit, Samurai Way and Dan Dare. The selection scored in gritty fashion last time out at York. He was actually hit repeatedly on the face by his rivals whip on that occasion so he proved that he has the guts for any fight and he must go close today despite a 6lb rise in the weights. Samurai Way and Celtic Spirit both won on their last outings; both are fairly lightly-raced and there may well be more improvement to come. Hernando Royal ran a cracker behind Nosferatu at Epsom and Hughie Morrison's runner still looks progressive, as does Magicalmysterytour. Dual performers Ameeq and Clueless warrant respect, as does Dan Dare who's trainer knows what it takes to plunder a prize and this ground may well suit more than last time out. A tough puzzle to solve, however High Treason is taken to continue his winning form.
