Feared In Flight gets the nomination ahead of Declaration Of War and Montaquila. Six of the last ten runnings of this superlative contest have been won by favourites so the market may prove invaluable for finding the winner. Feared In Flight ran a cracker in the Chesham at Ascot when going down by half a length to Maze. He seemed to get every yard of this trip on that occasion and may well have won granted a clearer passage. Declaration Of War seemed to be a little one-paced over six furlongs last time out so this step up in trip looks a logical move; having won twice on good ground already he must be respected. Montaquila won't mind if the rain comes but he is equally effective on any ground and whilst this is a step up in class, he looks sure to acquit himself well. Ellmau, Bigfanofthat, Dry Speedfit and Mutabayen all have untold improvement to come having all won their only starts to date, whilst Hatta Fort looked a little unlucky in running last time out. Whether this two furlong step up in trip will show him in his best light must be taken on trust, and so we will return to Feared In Flight for the winner.
