In depth

Verdict

The second division of the Wood Ditton is just as tricky, but the Michael Stoute trained Mountain High has been quietly touted as a decent sort and is given the vote ahead of Haddaaf and Vanish. The selection is a Danehill Colt and a half brother to numerous winners including the very talented Islington and Greek Dance. If he has inherited most of their talent he will be hard to beat here. Haddaaf is also superbly bred, being by Kingmanbo out of Bint Salsabil. This trip should be ideal for John Dunlop's charge who is rated a very big danger. Vanish is a half sister to two decent winners and trainer David Loder is a past master at winning with newcomers. Of the others Katheer stands out as a colt with a future, but Mountain High is majestically bred and gets the decision.
