The Mark Johnston-trained Princess Taise was a real eye-catcher on her debut and is fancied to expand upon her unbeaten status; possibly at the main expense of Satulagi and Precocious Star, while English Ballet also has plenty to offer and is an interesting one to note in the betting. The last named showed a willing attitude to get off the mark in a Windsor maiden last month - running on strongly to lead in the closing stages. That run will have taught her a lot and she is very much one for the future. Precocious Star was a cheap purchase that has already done her connections proud. She has nothing to lose by taking her chance in this higher grade and looks sure to give her all. However, there is the suspicion that may not be quite good enough at this level and she needs everything to go her way. Satulagi deserved her Ascot win and is another that has given her connections plenty to shout about since her introduction. She is exposed though and has more improvement to find. Therefore, we prefer to go with potential of Princess Taise who already knows plenty about what is required of her and she is worth keeping on the right side for the time being.
