Turbo Linn is an interesting contender n this renewal of the Lancashire Oaks however we will side with experience over potential by plumping for Mont Etoile as the selection, ahead of German raider Scatina and Brisk Breeze. William Haggas' filly should be fit given her recent run over an inadequate mile at Pontefract. The fact that she nearly won on that occasion proves that he has retained all of her ability after a winter off and now stepped up to a more suitable trip, a big run can be expected. Trick Or Treat disappointed when tried in Ireland last time out but can be forgiven that run as the travelling may not have suited and she cannot be written off yet with the booking of Frankie Dettori taking the eye. Scatina could be the joker in the pack; this German filly having won and finished third on her last two Group Two outings. Watch the market for clues could be the advice, but it remains to be seen whether the English public will ever truly take to a German raiding party. Turbo Linn carried all before her in five bumper starts, culminating in a win in the big Aintree Flat Race. She then dotted up at Catterick in a maiden to begin her flat career. How good she may be is a question that will soon be answered, but highly though of by her trainer, she must not be taken lightly. Brisk Breeze didn't stay when tried over two miles at Ascot but now dropped in trip she must be afforded utmost respect, and whilst Litalia and Dash To The Front may have place claims, we are happy to return to Mont Etoile as the likeliest winner.
