An open renewal of the Cherry Hinton can go to Elletelle ahead of You'resothrilling and Francesca D' Gorgio. The selection has won over this trip before but proved as adept over the minimum trip when winning the Queen Mary Stakes at Ascot. She travelled well that day and then quickened to score in gritty fashion. Having plundered that prize, connections will be hoping to further boost the coffers here. Francesca D'Gorgio was only a length behind in fourth that day and with a first-time visor applied today, she could feasibly finish closer given a 3lb pull in the weights. Janina disappointed at Ascot in the Albany when stepped up to this trip; she may be better over the minimum trip at present so is passed over. Mick Channon's Nahoodh is pitched in at a very tough level but is nonetheless an interesting contender, along with Aiden O'Brien's You'resothrilling. Second in the Albany having been denied a clear run, this daughter of Stormcat out of a Rahy mare won't mind any further rain that comes and must be accorded the utmost respect, especially if the market speaks in her favour. Loch Jipp and Eileen's Violet may be best over the minimum trip at this stage in theri development, and so we will return to Elletelle as the likeliest winner, despite her Group Two penalty.
