Emirates Hills appeals most of those with experience but this looks likely to go to one of the choicely bred newcomers with DESERT LIAISON getting the nod from Maany. That pair along with Dancing Queen and Duty And Destiny are the runners that currently hold Group race entries which is about as much indication as we currently have as to the regard in which they're held. The market may tell us more and it has, traditionally, been a good guide to this race with five winning favourites in the past ten years. Emirates Hills run at Ascot was promising and the second and third have gone on to win their next starts which bodes well for her chances. Duty And Destiny can reasonably be expected to improve for her debut given the yard's track record whilst Dancing Queen represents a shrewd operation who doesn't usually overface their horses. It's interesting to see Richard Hills side with Tabassum ahead of Maayna given the entries that the latter holds for this year and the market may well guide as it should to the chances of Huroof if recent days are anything to go by. The selection is related to a number of juvenile winners, has the big race entries and represents a powerful yard with a fine juvenile strike rate at this track so it's reasonable to expect a big performance from Desert Liaison.
