Sent From Heaven, Jira and Chachamaidee are respected but LONG LASHES could prove to be a shrewd acquisition by the Godolphin outlet. It's a little offputting that Dettori has opted to head for Haydock rather than take the ride aboard this American bred filly but it may be best to view that as a positive for Campanologist rather than a negative for her chances. She may have been a big price when winning a Curragh maiden for Jessica Harrington but the performance was impressive and the form franked by the likes of Elusive Galaxy, Golden Bubbles and Famous who were the next three home. Barry Hills has been responsible for the winner of four of the last eight runnings so Sent From Heaven is sure to attract plenty of attention. She made her debut at Kempton which was also the scene for Ghanaati's debut a year ago but she managed to go two places better. The only one of those behind to have run didn't do anything for the form but the manner of success was impressive. This is Jira's first run beyond six but she has shaped as though in need of this test and she is up to winning at this level. Chachamaidee hasn't been seen since finishing a close third in the Albany which is form that entitles her to the closest consideration with neither the step up in trip nor softer surface likely to cause problems. Gallic Star went down as an unlucky loser in many quarters in a Listed race at Sandown and the wide spaces of this track should help her to give her running and she's no back number. This looks a decent renewal as a number have live claims but Long Lashes may be able to reward her connections with an immediate return on their investment.
