For all the promise of Bowermaster's debut this can go to a newcomer and EL MUQBIL appeals as the one to be with ahead of Enabling and Pisco Sour. Bowermaster is entitled to have learnt from his course and distance second but he's likely to be short enough on the back of that run in a race that has produced some smart performers in recent years. The obvious place to start is with Richard Hannon's runners given the success that he has enjoyed this season and Enabling would appear to be the stable's first string ahead of Major Art as the stable bids for a fourth win in this race in nine years. Pisco Sour doesn't represent a yard readily associated with first time out winners but the jockey booking takes the eye and support should be noted. Native Khan's sales price rose dramatically at the breeze-ups and is another to bear in mind but Brian Meehan will be keen to get some winners on the board for his new patron and El Muqbil, a half-brother to Arcano who scored for the yard on debut, certainly looks the part on paper and has the requisite big race entries.
