It's five apiece between the Classic generation and their elders over the past ten years and in this fascinating renewal it may prove worth taking a chance with MUSIC SHOW who could go into the race as the forgotten horse with Strawberrydaiquiri, Special Duty and Lillie Langtry the headline stealers. Mick Channon's filly has enjoyed little luck this season but may just find that this race is run to suit and Richard Hughes has the tactical nous to play her hand late in the day once the others have clashed swords. Music Show was over 3 lengths behind the impressive Lillie Langtry in the Coronation Stakes and the winner was certainly impressive and it's hard to see why the second home, Gile Na Greine, should reverse the form just three weeks later. The first two home from the Windsor Forest Stakes do battle again and Strawberrydaiquiri has scope for more improvement than Spacious who has been readily held by the Stoute horse the last twice. Special Duty has famously won two Guineas in the Stewards' Room but she has a real turn of foot which could prove to be a potent weapon against those that like to force the pace. The Windsor Forest one, two count amongst that number as does Rainfall who has made rapid strides this season but this step up in trip and class may find her out at this stage of the season. A truly fascinating race is in store and Music Show may just be able to spring a surprise.
