It hasn’t taken long for Sir Michael Stoute’s string to hit top gear and SANGARIUS was mightily impressive when winning the Group 3 Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot just under a year ago. Twice a winner over 7f as a two-year-old, he should cope with the drop back to a mile and is the one to beat if fully wound-up as he doesn’t carry a penalty. Mythical Magic was second in a couple of Group 2 races in Meydan at the start of the year so could be the one to profit if the selection doesn’t come up to scratch, though there are also possibilities about last year’s Darley Stakes third Prince Eiji. Lord Tennyson and Dawaam could be anything but this is a massive elevation in class for both. Escobar, Bless Him and the Johnston pair Marie's Diamond and Vale Of Kent are useful handicappers but also upped in grade.
