Verdict
GHANAATI might not be much of a price but she should prove tough to beat and she can get the better of Fantasia and Strawberrydaiquiri. The selection has not been seen out since finishing third behind Rip Van Winkle at Goodwood in the Sussex Stakes back in July. Her jockey reported afterwards that she had run a bit flat, but it was still a good effort against the colts and there is little doubt that she is a top class filly. That point was illustrated by her outstanding performances in taking the 1000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes and she can get back to winning ways here. Fantasia is a likeable filly but so far she has come up a little short in Group 1 company and that trend should continue here. She won a Listed contest at Doncaster last month in good style, but she is back up in class here and she will struggle to get the better of our selection. Strawberrydaiquiri is progressive and she arrives here looking for her fifth win on the bounce. She was unraced as a juvenile and she has taken giant strides this season, but it will be a surprise if she is good enough to get her head in front today. Spacious wasn't disgraced in the Falmouth Stakes here back in July but she disappointed at Goodwood last time. Heaven Sent is capable of getting competitive but she has so far been put in her place in Group company. It is hard to see past Ghanaati who can make her obvious class count.
