There are some large fields at Newmarket this afternoon with the opening fillies race having no fewer than 17 runners declared to face the starter but it is hard to get away from Aidan O'Brien's Albany Stakes runner up and Group 2 Debutante Stakes winner LILLIE LANGTRY, who is taken to make up for her disappointing effort in the Moyglare Stud Stakes last time, and she gets the vote over Sunarise and Jira. Like a lot of the yard's runners, Clive Brittain's filly has been highly tried including when well held in the Sweet Solera Stakes here in August but she ran much better in a valuable sales race last time and has to be considered. Paul Cole's Pink Symphony is lightly raced and claims but she needs to improve to trouble the selection, while Saeed Bin Suroor's Siyaadah disappointed when favourite for the Prestige Stakes last time after a winning debut and she now looks best watched. Gerard Butler's Sing Sweetly has only had the one start so far and could be of interest but more solid claims are held by Dubawi Heights. Simon Callaghan's filly belied market odds when a close third in the Lowther on her third start before finding just Shamandar too good in the Watership Down Stud Sales Race at Ascot last month. Richard Hannon's Sunarise is a beautifully bred newcomer being by Galileo out of a Gone West mare and she could be of interest first time out but Lillie Langtry is the clear form pick and she should take all the beating.
