Verdict
There's not much to split the runners that have got race experience and given that we'll take one of the newcomers to win this in Godolphin's well bred colt REBEL CHIEFTAIN, who should continue his yard's excellent record with juvenile debutants this season, ahead of Battle Study and Always De One. The boys in blue have been producing plenty of first time out winners this term and with the usual nice bloodline supporting the pick's chances we can intimate he can add to that record. Of those who have tasted racing proper Battle Study improved from first run to second to find just one to good last time so it's reasonable to suggests he'll improve again to challenge. In contrast to Godolphin Mark Johnston's juveniles have often needed their first run this year so it's feasible to suggest we should see more of the usefully bred Always De One this time. Stefanski was promising on debut and looks set for another good run while Antoniola has held his form in two starts and should give his running once more. Not a great maiden and Rebel Chieftain can win on debut.
