        Verdict

        This is a typically tight sprint handicap where literally most of the field have a chance of scoring and although Hawkeyethenoo offers temptation after winning last time his six pound penalty for that success might be prohibitive so instead we make preference for INGLEBY STAR, who is now just above his last wining mark, while Nomoreblondes is also interesting. A winner on his only previous attempt over course and distance the pick is now just a pound above the mark he last carried to victory. Both starts since have been poor but this looks his correct weight so he should be in better touch. Nomoreblondes is a five furlong specialist and was a nice winner when four pounds better off two starts ago, however, we wonder if his mark remains on the high side at present. Mandarin Spirit pops up now and again but he's been more hit than miss recently and Select Committee has shown himself competitive off this sort of mark but his last run leaves a sour taste. Really tricky stuff when a pin might be the best choice of weapon to pick the winner but using more form guided means our suggestion is Ingleby Star.
