Verdict

Luxury Launch and Asaleeb are both interesting newcomers, either of who could be good enough to win first time out but Mansfield Park sets a fair standard and is the logical choice. David Loder's daughter of Green Desert made an encouraging debut when second behind the Barry Hills-trained Isidore Bonheur over course and distance last month and, with the benefit of that run under her belt, she is taken to go one better. Hills will know what is required of his representative Luxury Launch, an American-bred daughter of Seeking The Gold, while Asaleeb, a half-sister to a couple of useful types, is from a yard capable of readying a horse first time out. Night Storm finished second at Kempton last time but that form may not represent much and a bigger threat to the selection may be Hathrah, who came up against the useful Lucky Pipit on her debut. Mansfield Park has solid claims though and is difficult to oppose.
