Verdict

ORACLE may be able to improve sufficiently from his debut to land an early blow for Aidan O'Brien although Yarooh sets the standard and Richard Hannon saddles an interesting pair in Numeral and Sheer Courage. Oracle was made favourite for his debut at the Curragh on heavy ground but was well held in fifth at a time when the yard's horses weren't quite living up to market expectations. It was still a nice enough introduction and it will be surprising if he doesn't fare considerably better here. Yarooh shaped well over course and distance on debut where she had On Wings Of Love behind although Alan Bailey's runner didn't enjoy the clearest of passages; both may find easier opportunities back against their own sex and a bigger threat may be posed by Numeral who appears to be the Hannon first string. That's not to say that Sheer Courage doesn't also make some appeal on paper whilst Al Aasifh and Majestic Missile's half-brother Black Moth are others to be interested in but Oracle may have the answer.
