This is a wide open handicap, where none of the field are running at the top of their form, and DINGAAN is given a tentative nod, ahead of Namibian Orator and Flipando. Flipando is now 6lbs lower than when chasing home a useful type at Haydock in July, and is well treated. He has been running in good company without success since, and he can go well. Namibian Orator won on debut at Windsor, but was then a major disppointment at Newmarket next time. He has been given a lay off since finishing last on that occasion, and may go well when fresh. Dingaan has been running some solid races in defeat since scoring at Bath in July, badly hampered at Goodwood on two separate occasions recently. He is only 3lbs higher than his last success and Dingaan is capable of springing a surprise.
