KELLYS EYE caught the eye on debut in a fair maiden and may well start as favourite on the back of that run; Dies Solis is another to bear in mind with Amitola an interesting newcomer. Brian Smart's son of Noverre finished strongly from off the pace at Newcastle and should be all the better for that run. The second home was rated ninety three and the third has won since to give the form a solid look and he'll be fancied to open his account. The fifth home, Silver Socks, has run well enough in a fair maiden since so Ian Semple will have an idea where he stands with Dies Solis whose debut was not devoid of promise; the market could be useful in respect of that pair. Mercers Row and Olympic Ceremony are closely matched on the form that they have shown thus far whilst Amitola is speedily bred and related to winners. However, Kellys Eye is taken to build on the promise of his debut.
