LOCKSLEY HALL, Rum King and Brannagh make the shortlist here, with the first-named having the form in the book and he looks the likeliest winner. Entered in the Dewhurst, Brannagh is a half-brother to Lord Shanakill and his trainer is likely to have him ready first time out. The market may be the best guide to his chances, the only concern being that he has clearly taken time to mature. Rum King was well beaten at Newmarket on debut, but he showed improved form to get in the frame at Lingfield last time. That was only a respectable effort however, and he has a lot to find with the selection. Locksley Hall is a half-brother to a dual winner in the States and he has run well on both his starts to date, just touched off at Newbury last time. Locksley Hall can make it third time lucky.
