A trappy little heat with the three previous winners the ones to concentrate on. Pivotal Guest has done nothing wrong, neither has Moulin De Mougins, who defied a mark of 84 when winning a nursery at Ayr last time. However, while they will be difficult to beat a chance is taken with Spin King, who showed much improved form when stepped up to this trip at Leicester last week. Prior to that effort, he came out of another Leicester race which has worked out well with four of the first six home all winning since, with the runner-up finishing third in a Listed contest. This half-brother to a prolific winner in Italy is open to plenty of improvement and he gets the nod. Pivotal Guest has yet to finish out of the frame, albeit in small fields, but it would be dangerous to underestimate him, as his trainer has been quoted as saying his charge "is a bit thick and a slow learner". Moulin De Mougins form is solid, if unspectacular, but he knows how to battle and that will stand him in good stead. However, Spin King is a likeable sort, open to improvement and could prove to be a class above his rivals.
