Donna's Double is in good heart and could be ready to take his turn here with Chisel and Eastern Hope put forward as the main dangers. The selection ran well when fourth behind Creskeld last time at Hamilton and that came after a series of encouraging efforts. Paul Hanagan is booked for the ride and with conditions to suit he is given the confident nomination. Chisel is from a leading yard and is eased slightly in grade so has to be respected, although he will need to show a degree of improvement if he is to make the frame. Eastern Hope was well beaten in a handicap last time but he had previously run well at Redcar when third behind Parisian Playboy and he would have claims on the basis of that run. Erupt is a course and distance winner so he is another worthy of consideration but for the winner we return to Donna's Double.
