A decent class nursery that may fall to Crimson Flame, River Lena and Sciatin could prove to be tough opponents. Mick Channon has a good line to two-year-old form and Crimson Flame has shown enough in three races to date to suggest he is well treated today. He was in fact well beaten by today's rival River Lena at Beverley, but was never going on that occasion and is better judged on his previous run when chasing home Nihal at Ayr. River Lena is an improving type and will go close to following up her victory. However she is thirteen pounds worse off with the selection this afternoon and may have to settle for some place money. Sciatin will have been hard to assess having landed a Newmarket maiden on just his second outing. Like most of Cumani's juveniles he should be improving and looks a major threat to all. Luna Landing has solid form claims and looks the pick of the remainder, however Crimson Flame does appear fairly treated and gets the verdict.
