Verdict

Gallaside made a promising start at Newmarket but failed to land the odds in soft going at Carlisle after that and attempts this longer trip for the first time. But there are no doubts about NORTHERN HOPE lasting home as he was beaten only a head over the extended 7f at Beverley last week and Danny Tudhope takes over the reins for this. The Lazy Monkey was less than convincing over today’s distance at Chelmsford when fading in the closing stages while Reclaim Victory, a half-sister to three winners on the all-weather, is preferred to You're My Rock and Full Strength of the newcomers.
