Tim Easterby's TOP BID ran too badly to be true at Newmarket last week when slowly away and never in contention and he looks worth another chance having won well at Hamilton and Nottingham in his two previous starts this term, getting the vote ahead of Tadalavil and Dark Moment. The last mentioned showed improved form when narrowly beaten by Arjemis at Hamilton last week and he has every chance racing off the same mark today. Jeremy Glover's Slikback Jack is lightly raced but needs to improve to trouble the judge, while James Bethell's Tawzeea has slipped to a fair mark but has yet to show the level of form that he showed two years ago. Tim Etherington's Embra is not sure to appreciate the step up to six furlongs and of more interest may be Linda Perratt's Tadalavil, who has been running consistently well this term. Top Bid has done little wrong this season until that disappointing effort at Newmarket last time though and he looks worth backing to resume winning ways.
