In depth

Verdict

Black Grass carries a double penalty having completed a four-timer with Monday’s win at Wolverhampton. Nathan Evans’ allowance alleviates some of his burden but SEMANA SANTA is still preferred. The latter won a maiden at Wolverhampton and just has the beating of Mininggold on her latest run at Redcar. David Barron’s filly is also less exposed than the latter and can come out best with further progress expected. Southwell winner September Issue steps back down in trip but Wilde Extravagance ran well over 5f at Carlisle last time and is preferred to Bromley Cross.
