        Verdict

        Rock'n'Roller, Spritza and Wicked Daze are the three to focus on in this auction contest, with Spritza the selection. Sir Mark Prescott's Wicked Daze has shown ability in three starts to date, notably when a staying on second at Thirsk. Those three outings were over a much shorter trip, and this son of Generous will no doubt improve over this longer distance. A lay off of almost two years may count against him though despite his trainer's talents. According to official ratings, Rock'n'Roller has a leading chance at these weights, and he has shaped well to date, finishing fourth at Newbury last time. That form has taken some knocks though, and he is therefore opposed here. Spritza has been placed in four of her six starts to date and is the epitome of consistency. She chased home Nicomedia at Lingfield last time, and that one ran well in defeat at Bath on Monday. The blonde pilot Hayley Turner is on board and she can ride Spritza to her first win.
