Mary Reveley complicates matters by saddling three runners in this two-mile handicap and, while My Line, Blossom Whispers and Scottish Song come here fit from hurdling, the stable remains badly out of form and none of them can be relied upon to give their true running. Haystacks, a winner over course and distance when last seen on the flat in September 2001, has not been seen in public since running over hurdles two months later and is probably best watched. Cheyenne Chief., who won here in a novices' hurdle in November, is not certain to stay two miles on the flat and is passed over. Micky Hammond's Nandoo has claims if fit enough for his seasonal reappearance but with a doubt concerning that the selection is Toni Alcala. Roger Fisher's four-year-old comes here in good form from the all-weather, is at least as good on turf and he should be thereabouts once more.
