A chance is taken with Knot In Wood in the finale, with Storm Chase and the bang-in-form Superstitious expected to be breathing down his neck near the finish. Superstitious won a couple of handicaps at Nottingham at the start of this month and has to be respected while his is in such good heart. However, he has more to do under a penalty and needs everything to fall just right for him. Storm Chase has been the subject of several market moves this term and finally delivered the goods at Lingfield just over a fortnight ago. He does have few questions to answer regarding firm ground and may be vulnerable today. On The Bright Side is another to mention, as she starts her handicap career on a very attractive mark and this well-bred filly could be the surprise package of the race. However, Knot In Wood makes slightly more appeal at this stage, as has proved that he is at the top of his game at present and, with the drop to six furlongs expected to suit him ideally, this speedy individual may just have enough improvement to hold off the rest today.
