In depth

Verdict

Buniann won novices' race over track and trip before struggling behind Hard Solution at Redcar on his handicap debut and the latter has been beaten off today’s mark since. Be Proud and Brandy Station also failed to cope with a rise in the weights having won their penultimate starts while Swiss Connection is upped 3lb for winning over track and trip. Burtonwood and Leo Minor can do better back over the minimum trip today but a speculative vote goes to MR GREENLIGHT having his first outing on the all-weather and racing off the same mark as when suffering a narrow-margin defeat at Musselburgh a week ago.
