Verdict

Equiano Springs finished ahead of Firmdecisions when scoring at Newmarket last month and is 5lb higher while Saluti beat Athollblair Boy only a neck at Doncaster earlier and the latter has subsequently gone close again at Redcar. Staxton and Buridan struggled in tougher sprints than this last time and can figure but a chance is taken on ABOVE THE REST returning to form. He won a Listed race at Wolverhampton early in the year and 2lb lower than his latest success in a handicap, David Barron’s charge gets the nod back on the all-weather.
