There was no fluke about Our Armageddon's lowering of Tees Components colours over course and distance five days ago (stablemate Vulcan Lane behind) and the fact that connections are running him again so quickly means he has to be considered. Argento has solid enough form at this level. Almost Free won over 12 furlongs on the Flat for Mark Johnston but was then ill and his hurdling debut was hardly auspicious. Dark Shadows won over 12 furlongs at Ripon in August 2000 and his second to Besieged over hurdles is reasonable form. Huka Lodge made late headway on his debut and might improve. Kuwait Thunder's fourth to Laouen at Doncaster last time gives him place claims. Loblite Leader won over 14 furlongs on the Flat even though his breeding would not suggest that that trip would suit. Ferdy Murphy's newcomer Monty Flood is entitled to consideration if the market speaks in its favour. Nickel Sundancer ran a fair third to Athenian Law at Market Rasen last year but has been off for over a year. Red Man showed some promise on his course and distance debut. Society Buck won a Sedgefield bumper but has, overall, been disappointing in two runs since. Zoltano's form is rock solid, particularly when fourth on his debut behind Jaboune. He warrants respect but there is no getting away from Our Armageddon's course and distance effort and he gets the vote.
